José Salmerón



José spent his formative years diving in the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean and basking in southern Spain's persistent sun. He now dives (very occasionally) in Florida's turquoise shores, still basking in unforgiving suns while working as an independent designer and illustrator for Condé Nast, The Economist Group, LexisNexis, Upworthy, Weber Shandwick, Indeed, and many other clients. For several years, José filled the role of Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather, having been a creative leader for Thomson Reuters and Frog Design besides. His work has earned some of the top awards in the industry, including the ADDY, Anvil, FWA, PR News, PRWeek, SABRE, Shorty, THOTH, WOMMY, and WPP Cream.
