John credits his acute sense of color and light to being flung from the back of a speeding pickup truck at the tender age of thirteen. When he regained consciousness, he knew he wanted to be a filmmaker.
His films have screened at the Sundance Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival and have been nominated for a Student Academy Award.
He has directed numerous music videos for bands you’ve never heard of and ads for companies you have heard of, like Google and Red Bull.
